Meizu merupakan salah satu produsen smartphone asal Tiongkok yang patut dipertimbangkan, karena perusahaan tersebut bertekat membuat perangkatnya menjadi lebih baik dengan cara melakukan perbaikan dari segala bidang, supaya lebih unggul disegala aspek dibandingkan dengan smarphone lainnya.

Meizu Pro 5 sendiri masih menjadi salah satu smartphone unggulan dari perusahaan yang sudah meluncur sejak tahun 2015 lalu.
Smartphone ini memiliki spesifikasi dari Galaxy S6, termasuk shipset exynos 7420 yang menjadikan sebagai saingan berat smartphone flagship dari produsen lainnya.
Meizu MX6 diduga akan menjadi smartphone flagship baru untuk tahun 2016 ini.
Smartphone ini diharapkan terbit sebelum bulan Mei tahun ini. 
Smartphone ini juga mengemas shipset Helio X20 dengan prosesor deca dore dan Mali-T-880 GPU.

Prosesor sepuluh inti untuk perangkat mobile memang terdegar berlebihan, karena dengan inti delapan saja sudah lebih dari cukup. Namun chipset ini telah mencetak skor yang sangat luar biasa, di mana skor multi-core menggunakan GeekBench dapat mencapai angka 7037. Jadi sudah dapat dipastikan jika performa dari smartphone ini sangatlah baik, begitu juga diharapkan efisiensi dayanya juga baik.

Selain itu, kini juga telah beredar luas sebuah foto dari forum Meizu yang disebut-sebut sebagai konsep smartphone selanjutnya. Sumber tersebut menambahkan bahwa ini bisa menjadi desain akhir Meizu MX6 atau Pro 6. Gambar tersebut memperlihatkan desain dari smartphone yang memiliki layar OLED alias melengkung di kedua sisinya, mirip dengan Galaxy S7 dan Vivo Xplay 5. Vivo sendiri menjadi produsen Tiongkok pertama yang menggunakan layar OLED, serta menjadi yang pertama dengan kapasitas RAM besar.

Desain yang ditampilkan tersebut memang tampil lebih keren ketimbang smarpthone yang telah meluncur sebelumnya. Meizu sendiri terjebak pada desain yang bisa dikatakan hampi serupa semua, namun dengan adanya desain baru yang lebih keren ini mungkin akan menjadi angin segar bagi Meizu. Namun perlu dicatat bahwa ini masih berupa konsep yang belum dapat dipastikan sepenuhnya. Kita nantikan saja, apakah smartphone flagship mendatang dari Meizu bakal memiliki layar OLED atau tidak.
